When to go to the ER

When should I go to the Emergency Room?

Our facility is owned and operated by specialty trained emergency physicians. At AllBetterCare we provide medical treatment for conditions of severity requiring timely evaluation but not needing the emergent comprehensive services of a hospital based Emergency Department. Our services page gives a basic overview of what types of medical conditions we treat.

The appropriate place for anyone with potentially life threatening symptoms is in a hospital. If you are experiencing any of the following symptoms, immediately get yourself to a hospital emergency department, or call 911 if you feel your situation requires.

  • Chest Pain
  • Severe shortness of breath
  • Weakness, numbness or slurred speech
  • Severe headache
  • Serious trauma
  • Complications of pregnancy
  • Severe Abdominal pain

Patients who are found to have unstable medical conditions will be transferred from AllBetterCare to the closest appropriate emergency department if illness severity requires.
We coordinate that transfer, contact the ER directly, and send your medical record and test results to the receiving facility. Will utilize Emergency Medical Services (EMS) transportation via 911 in medical situations that we deem to be unstable and life threatening.
